The Future For CEN…

Firstly, sorry for the radio silence. It has been 14 days since we last delivered content to your inbox, the longest gap since launching back in early February.

During this content gap we have taken some time to ponder the future of the project.

Our inbox is still filled with mindless abuse after every newsletter. Mostly from freeloaders angry that they haven’t been paid huge rewards just for subscribing.

Our last newsletter on May 3rd resulted in over 500 replies, mainly abuse which we had to sift through for hours so that we could reply to real subscribers requesting support or feedback.

This along with the dubious CEN trading activity observed on songbird explorer (revealing more bad actors gaming our rewards system), left us considering defeat.

Then, like a sign from the heavens, three brands signed up for our pay per click advertising slots. Three great brands willing to pay $1 per click.

A pretty sweet reminder that this thing has legs and a kick up our jacksie to ramp up content and soldier on.

So we brain stormed what needs to change in order to align our approach with the original goal of publishing fun and engaging content to a community that values the effort.

In our endeavour to end the spamming of our rewards system, and mindless replies to each newsletter, we need to increase the barrier to entry.

We are willing to dedicate our efforts 100% to delivering great content as often as 5 days per week.

We will devour every long form interview and Flare dev session.

We will fork out hundreds of dollars per month to engage in paid groups ensuring our content is cutting edge.

We are willing to put in the time, expense and effort so that you don’t have to, then serve you with snappy emails, keeping you fully informed about the Flare ecosystem and everything related.
