Who will Be The OG?!?!

The Flare team are doing a great job of explaining the potential for their protocols, touring trade shows and doing tons of interviews to spread the word.

While potential is great, it means nothing without action.

Which got us thinking about which projects are on course to get some much needed real world traction for the Flare protocols

We mulled over current projects on Songbird and Flare, pondering how they could expand and grow with the launch of F-Assets and Layercake.

Then we noticed this post about CBDCs by Spend the Bits (Remember these guys? We featured them around 5 months ago… ):

After a cheeky slide into their DM’s they were kind enough to offer an update, here’s their reply:

‘SpendTheBits recently completed a successful Proof of Concept (POC) with Flare Network.

During the POC, users were able to seamlessly onboard Bitcoin (BTC) from the Bitcoin chain onto SpendTheBits.

In between, they could spend BTC on Flare Network and subsequently withdraw it back to the Bitcoin chain.

The SpendTheBits team is currently awaiting Flare Network's announcement regarding its FBTC feature.

Upon receiving this announcement, the SpendTheBits team will proceed with the implementation of FBTC.’

They even included this video of the FBTC test in action!

Between FBTC and CBDCs the amount of potential value flowing through this project is astronomical!!!

The Pheonix Project announced that they are the ‘first not-for-profit & deflationary Decentralized Exchange to exist on the Songbird Network!’

These guys have a very clear stance that burning SGB is a deflationary tool which will benefit SGB holders.
